A bit about me

My name is Michael, I live in Castle Hill and I’m a freelance web designer. I started playing around with Adobe Photoshop in late 2002, which turned from making counter-strike team banners to a passion for designing graphics in a matter of days. In early 2003, I purchased my first book on HTML to begin learning how to create and style basic web pages.

In 2004, I created my first website for a client, and realised how much I enjoyed the field of work, so decided to commence a Bachelor of Design (Visual Communication) after completing my HSC in 2005 at Oakhill College. In 2007, I joined some friends in backpacking Europe for 6 months while my university studies were on hold. While overseas, I met a lot of designers who shared their experiences with me, and further sparked my interests of freelance designing. From what I’d discovered from my experiences, I transferred my studies to a Digital Media course through TAFE, which I completed in 2008.

To this day, I still love doing what I’m doing and would love to hear from you to get your website started.
